Safety Features
The Discovery VPL is engineered in Sweden with an advanced, multi-layered safety suite designed to protect passengers in every situation. Key safety features include:
Manual Lowering — Allows the lift to be safely lowered to the nearest landing during a power loss or system fault.
Safety Underpan — Stops the lift immediately if an obstruction is detected beneath the platform.
Emergency Backup Lowering System (Optional) — Automatically lowers the lift to a safe level during a power outage.
Warranty and Maintenance
- 3-year conditional warranty covering both labour and parts.
- Servicing required every 12 months to maintain warranty and optimal performance.
